Alberto Flores was born and raised in Phoenix in a working-class immigrant family who worked in auto shops. Alberto and his brother had to finish high school online so that they could work full time. By the time Alberto was 16, he was running the shop. Due to his father’s immigration status at the time and the lack of accessible resources in the community, Alberto’s family became subject to predatory loans. Alberto is endorsed by Chispa Arizona, LUCHA, Our Voice Our Vote, Sierra Club, Worker Power, Working Families Party, and many other organizations.
