In his time as a Delegate, he has earned a 100% rating from the Family Foundation, a hard right religious organization pushing the limits of the separation of church and state and targeting LGBTQ+ youth in schools. He also proudly boasts of being recognized by the American Conservative Union as one of the most conservative members of the House of Delegates.
