    Vote No On Question 1

  • The same MAGA Republicans that undermine election results when they don't win are trying to permanently change Wisconsin's state constitution to make it harder to vote. If passed, Question 1 would make it significantly more difficult for our local election officials to cover the costs of running our elections. We shouldn't let MAGA extremists permanently change our constitution just because they are mad they didn't win. On Question 1, voting "NO" is the progressive choice.

    Vote No On Question 2

  • In Question 2, MAGA Republicans are trying to again mess around with Wisconsin's elections by placing unnecessary limits on how local election officials run Wisconsin's elections. Our municipal clerks know our communities and they know how to run our smooth, secure elections. This question is an attempt by MAGA Republicans to permanently undermine our democracy. On Question 2, voting "NO" is the progressive choice.

Vote Yes For Beloit Public Schools

  • The School District of Beloit is asking the community to approve a referendum to ensure Beloit's kids, teachers, and schools have the resources they need to thrive. Right now, SDB, like districts across Wisconsin, is facing a funding gap that is directly related to the state education funding system. This referendum would authorize $9 million in funding for each of the next three years by increasing the property tax mill rate to $6.11, still below most Rock County districts. Referendum funds would help maintain course offerings and class sizes, support special education, maintain vital district facilities, and fairly compensate educators throughout Beloit's local schools. Beloit's students and staff are worth it. Voting "YES" is the progressive choice.
