McFarland School District is asking the community to approve a $10.6 million referendum to help ensure the village's kids, teachers, and schools have the resources they need for a great education. Right now, McFarland School District, like many districts across Wisconsin, is facing a funding gap that is directly related to the state education funding system. McFarland has been very fiscally responsible, but more resources are needed to maintain current class sizes and caseloads, ensure McFarland can attract and retain high quality educators, and keep up with the rising cost of utilities and transportation needs.
